Welcome to the CREATE for STEM Institute's MiniConference 2014!
The CREATE for STEM Institute will hold a mini-conference for MSU researchers and educational practitioners on Thursday February 20, 2014 at the MSU Union Ballroom, Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI. The theme of the conference, CREATE-ing Vibrant Communities for STEM Education Research, will allow faculty, postdocs, graduate students, teachers, administrators, and other educational leaders opportunities to share and discuss their work to promote the K through 16 teaching and learning of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through research. Our hope is that this conference will allow us to build stronger interdisciplinary collaborations at MSU between researchers and practitioners.
The schedule will include 2 poster sessions separated by a keynote and plenary discussion. Our keynote speaker will be Susan Singer, Division Director, National Science Foundation.
Directions are available at http://www.msuunion.com/directions . An interactive campus map showing visitor parking and construction information can be found at http://maps.msu.edu/interactive/index.php .
